Vocational Training Program - Fortaleza

We run vocational training courses for unemployed teenagers and young people from the favelas. These courses are important as the give these young people a work skill to find employment to help themselves and their poor families, and also helping them avoid getting involved in the gang culture that is prevalent in Brazilian favelas. We have run courses in Sewing, T-Shirt printing and jewellery making. To date over a 1,000 teenagers and young people have benefited from this program.
